Job Presentation
Bolux Group consists of manufacturing units in Ramotswa and Depots in Francistown, Palapye and Maun supplying Maize Meal, Flour, and Bread to the Local Markets. Reporting to the Managing Director, you shall have the responsibility to plan, organise, and lead all activities relating to the Sales & Marketing and customer service level activities of the Group. The incumbent will be based in Ramotswa, Botswana. Your principal responsibilities shall include the following:
  • Contribute to the formulation of the functional strategic plan, business plan and operating plan and managing departmental performance in accordance with these plans.
  • Design and implement a robust customer engagement strategy, focusing on customer service management initiatives to enhance business relationships.
  • Assess Company performance against both commercial targets and the Company’s long-term strategy and advice Executive Management on the appropriate interventions.
  • Develop customer contact strategy I customer service management initiatives for business enterprises.
  • Develop and manage the implementation of customer retention and loyalty programmes to ensure that the Company
retains its market share.
  • Establish and drive ambitious performance targets across, to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Define and develop performance targets in terms of revenue, speed of delivery, focus on customer satisfaction, service quality and cost reduction.
  • Oversee market research and competitive analysis efforts, including customer demographic studies, market segmentation, penetration strategies, and new market identification.
  • Provide guidance and input on new product development for local and international market, pricing and review product life cycle based on leading edge technology.
  • Participate in the selection and recommendation of the appointment of the Communications and Advertising agencies / firms to optimise the implementation of the budget and maximise returns to communications and advertising campaigns.
  • Oversee customer research needs identification, product portfolio assessment and sales promotion activities.
  • Develop a marketing strategy per brand to ensure awareness and brand support.
  • Manage execution of brand marketing strategies through various identified mediums.
  • Lead the digital transformation of the Group's marketing efforts by managing social media platforms and driving innovative online marketing initiatives.
  • Develop, implement and manage all social media platforms and online marketing initiatives.
  • Develop market research activities, including those pertaining to customer demographics, market segmentation
and penetration, new market identification and competitive forces, and prepare associated reports, analyses and recommendations.
  • Participate actively in the implementation of ISO and Kaizen programs in order to contribute to company compliance with health, Safety and environmental Policies.
  EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & QUALIFICATIONS The ideal candidate should have a Degree in Business, Marketing or equivalent. Specialised Training in account management, sales, marketing or business management. Ten (10) years post qualification experience in the FMCG industry is critical. The candidate must also possess strong interpersonal and communication skills and be a self-motivated team player; tough and demanding in respect of performance standards.
