Introduction:
Wodge Investment hereby requests permission to operate a retail pharmacy business in Lobatse.
Wodge Investment (Pty) Ltd was established in August 2011and has been operating a cosmetic shop in Lobatse for the past two (2) years. The company is also registered with Botswana Unified Revenue Service (BURS). The company is not yet registered for VAT. The company is joint venture and majority shareholder of the company is a citizen.
The company started its operation as Cosmetic store in January 2014 in Lobatse. The store has been selling cosmetics and related items. The company has started its retail/community pharmacy business on 24th December 2015 to provide pharmaceutical services/care to its customers. The Pharmacy's main goal is

to provide quality medicines and related supplies, cosmetics, chemicals, chemical preparations, surgical and optical goods, infant foods and products at affordable cost for our customers. We are accepting medical aid cards of all registered Medical Aid Companies, members pay their co-payment and the rest payment is claimed from relevant medical aid company. This is the only pharmacy in Peleng and Thema area. The pharmacy operating hours will be from 08:30 am to 08:30 pm.
The company is in the process to get approval of its retail pharmacy trading name and will inform all relevant authorities/stakeholders after approval from the registrar of companies.
The managing director of the company is a registered pharmacist who also holds a bachelor degree in science.
The company has currently employed two (2) shop assistants. The company secretarial services are provided by ACME Services (Pty) Ltd.
