Company description
Makgadikgadi Pans National Park, situated in the northeastern part of Botswana, is a surreal and vast landscape of salt flats and grassy plains. Covering approximately 3,900 square kilometers, this unique park encompasses one of the largest salt flats in the world, which becomes an immense reflective white desert during the dry season. It is bordered by the Ntwetwe and Sowa Pans, remnants of an ancient lake that once spanned most of northern Botswana. Though the park may seem desolate at first glance, it comes alive with an astonishing variety of wildlife during the wet season, making it a destination that showcases two strikingly different landscapes depending on the time of year.
