EDUCATION OFFICE (SEROWE-PALAPYE SUB DISTRICT) - Botswana

To provide basic infrastructure and social services for improvement of primary education in the Central District.

DEPARTMENTAL SERVICES

Provision of transport to pupils during sporting activities and educational tours.

Recommendation for registration of both government and private schools.

Ensures provision of auxiliary staff in primary schools

Implements and monitors primary school feeding programmes.

Ensures good care of all council property in schools.

Ensures maintenance works in primary schools are done in liaison with buildings department and schools.

Provision of furniture, teaching and learning materials and equipment. ( In exception of textbooks)

Provision of infrastructure in primary schools through consultation with all stakeholders.
